Community Guidelines
Circo fosters authentic, safe spaces for meaningful connections and self-expression. This isn’t just another social media platform—it’s a community built on trust, creativity, and respect. Being part of Circo, you help make it a better place for all by sharing your unique voice while respecting the diverse voices around you. Post original, genuine, and lawful content to keep Circo’s community uplifting and secure.
Circo is here to elevate meaningful connections between creators and their audiences and foster genuine, lasting interactions. Our platform embraces diverse voices, perspectives, and creative expressions that add depth to our community.
We’ve designed these Community Guidelines to help protect this community, maintain a positive space, and allow Circo to thrive. Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or other actions necessary to safeguard our community.
Circo celebrates individuality and authenticity. Share only content you have the right to post—original creations or materials you’ve been permitted to share. Copying content from others or other platforms without consent diminishes trust, and we are here to build genuine, respectful connections. Circo Moments and your ICYMI feed are perfect for unique, thoughtful content that engages the community meaningfully.
Our audience on Circo spans different cultures, backgrounds, and ages, and we want everyone to feel welcome. Nudity or explicit content, even in artistic contexts, can detract from this goal. While Circo celebrates creative expression, content that includes sexual nudity, explicit depictions, or unsuitable for general audiences may be removed. However, we do allow certain health-related or educational content, such as breastfeeding, post-surgical recovery, awareness campaigns, and artwork in the form of paintings or sculptures.
Content showing children in any form of nudity is strictly not allowed to ensure their safety, even when posted with positive intentions.
Circo is designed for meaningful interactions. Avoid spammy behaviors like artificially increasing likes, followers, or comments, and don’t post repetitive or irrelevant content. Focus on building genuine engagement with followers who care about your content. Circo is about forming lasting connections, so let interactions be fundamental.
You can use your chosen name, but accounts made for impersonation, spam, or misrepresentation don’t belong on Circo.
Circo is committed to being a safe, law-abiding community. We do not permit content that supports illegal activities, including hate groups, organized crime, terrorism, or the sale of restricted goods. Content related to the promotion or sale of adult services, illegal substances, firearms, and other controlled items will be removed and may lead to account suspension.
Non-medical drugs, including marijuana outside of permissible jurisdictions, and their trade are prohibited. Circo also restricts the sale of live animals to licensed businesses to ensure ethical practices. Online gambling, lotteries, or real-money gaming requires written approval from Circo.
We maintain zero tolerance for content involving minors in sexual contexts or sharing intimate content with others without their permission.
Circo is a place for meaningful connections, where respect and positivity are paramount. We do not tolerate threats, hate speech, or harassment directed at private individuals or public figures. Criticizing public figures or discussing newsworthy individuals is allowed if the conversation remains respectful. We encourage dialogue that builds understanding and challenges issues, but never at the expense of others’ dignity or safety.
Content encouraging violence, bullying, or harassment will be promptly removed to maintain Circo’s supportive atmosphere. If clearly expressed in this context, stronger language to raise awareness about social issues may be allowed.
Circo values emotional support and encourages community members to offer empathy and resources, especially for those struggling with mental health challenges. However, content that promotes self-harm or other harmful behaviors goes against our values and will be removed. Our Help Center provides resources for those who need support, and we’re here to help keep Circo a safe and positive space.
Targeting others with harmful humor or degrading content will not be tolerated, primarily when directed at vulnerable people.
Many use Circo to share news and significant events. We encourage responsible sharing of such content, particularly graphic elements. If sharing such content to educate or raise awareness, please use warnings in captions where appropriate to ensure our diverse audience is prepared for sensitive material.
Violent or graphic content shared for shock or enjoyment will not be allowed. Circo is a space for learning and support—not to glorify violence.
Circo is built on shared responsibility. If you see something you believe goes against our guidelines, use our in-app reporting tools to let us know. Our dedicated team reviews reports promptly, working to keep the community safe and positive. Even non-members can file reports for public content to support our efforts in maintaining this space.
In cases where disagreements arise, or content that belongs to someone else is shared, we encourage resolving these issues respectfully. Avoid posting screenshots or drawing attention to conflicts on the platform, as this may escalate situations unnecessarily.
We may collaborate with law enforcement when credible threats or risks to public safety arise, always prioritizing community safety.
Thank you for helping make Circo a unique, positive space for genuine connections, discovery, and expression. Together, we’re building one of the best online communities that values real connections and empowers every voice.
